Pinto Beans

4 cups dry pinto beans
½ cup olive or canola Oil
5 strips soy bacon
1 medium onion minced
¼ cup liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic salt

Soak beans in water overnight In a crockpot put soaked and drained pinto beans, olive or canola oil, minced onion, liquid smoke and soy bacon

Cover with water and add garlic salt.

Stir and turn on medium heat checking and stirring several times during the day.

Cook until beans are just slightly firm.
